TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

TEXT, IMAGE AND SOUND COPYRIGHT NOTICE – MORAL RIGHT

Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch assert on behalf of the Authors identified for various parts of the content of this website the Moral Right to be identified as the originator of the work under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. The Authors have granted Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch waivers to use such content to promote the practice of the art, craft and science of fly-dressing (fly-tying).

You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system.

By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here (if you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, please leave this site immediately). Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement on this site.

Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch’s intellectual property rights, including copyright in its materials, are unaffected by the Society’s voluntary permission to use material for individual personal and non-commercial use. These rights still belong to the Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch and/or other Entities.

EXCLUSIONS

Images – Images are not available for re-use under the voluntary dispensation because in many cases copyright is held by a third-party Entity. Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch does not grant anyone any rights to re-use images.

Use of Logos – the use of any of the Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch’s logo or proprietary artwork on any document or in association with any information, that implicitly or explicitly suggests that the document or information has been prepared or approved by the Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch. The logos are used only on materials generated by Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch or where Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch has elected to work in collaboration with another or multiple organisations.

Use of any of the Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch logo or proprietary artwork without the Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch’s consent is an infringement of copyright. No permission will be granted for the use of the logos or artwork nor will reproduction of the logo in any form be allowed unless Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch determines that the material and proposed editorial or story on/in which the logos is to be used is of a type that Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch are able to accept.

Intellectual Property/Copyright Vested in Third Party Entities – Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch does not have the legal authority to grant permission to re-use documents where legal rights are owned by third party entities and does not grant such permission.

Applications for Re-use or Use Outside Voluntary Dispensation – If you wish to make a specific application to Re-use or Use Outside Voluntary Dispensation any of our website contents, please forward your request via the email form on our CONTACT page to ask permission, together with details of what, if any, additional conditions and/or charges may apply.

Your application should specify your name, address and identify the information you want to re-use, the purpose for its re-use, and where you propose to use it. Fly Dressers’ Guild Wessex Branch will review your request and determine if they will extend and/or alter permission for the re-use of the requested content. This decision is final.
